About ASI
ASI
started out as a small lawn and snow service
company in 1987. Since then, we have grown into one of southeastern Wisconsin's leading landscape companies. As a landscape leader, we have pioneered many of the procedures and practices used by landscapers today. Examples of these include the use of low-volume applicators for pesticides and the use of organic fertilizers, both of which are designed to put the environment first.
Down-to-Earth Roots
When Bart graduated from UWM, he landed a sizable snow removal contract with a large southeastern Wisconsin builder. Handling the demands of a large builder created a niche for ASI. Other landscapers began to rely on Bart's service and eye for enhancing curb appeal.
Achtenhagen Services often serviced three to four different builders in a single parade of homes.
Hard work, long hours and constant communication with customers led to the perfect model presentation. Success at model homes also led into condominiums and more residential accounts. In 1992, ASI was incorporated. It was then that Achtenhagen Services was born. Word-of-mouth advertising, great customer service, reliable equipment, manpower and knowledge built the foundation of ASI.
