ASI will take the necessary steps to ensure the proper installation and maintenance of your new beds.
Most mulch beds are installed without a fabric barrier to ensure proper breakdown and the return of nutrients back to the soil. All stone beds will have a fabric barrier that is porous to water, but does not allow weeds to penetrate. This barrier also keeps expensive stone from mixing with soil.
There will also be a plastic edge to keep the stone from encroaching on the grass. If you have a mature, overgrown landscape bed, we can design, furnish and install the bed that best fits your needs.
